Pumpkin Mask

In honor of the season delight in a Pumpkin Mask.  Pumpkin has amazing benefits for the skin.  It smooths and brightens the skin with it’s exfoliating properties.  Pumpkin is high in vitamin A, C, & E which provide antioxidant benefits to soothe and soften the skin. It also helps increase collagen production and minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Zinc and potassium that naturally occur in pumpkin help reduce redness.  I like to bake a small pumpkin till soft, scoop out the inside and use 1 tbsp pumpkin (the rest can be stored in an airtight container for one week in the refrigerator or frozen), 1 tsp of honey, and 1 tsp of yogurt.  Blend well and apply to the face.  Let sit for 10-20 minutes.  Rinse and follow with a hydrator and moisturizer of your choice (my favorite is rosewater as a hydrator and argon oil as a moisturizer).
